WC Joystick - No Joy

World Circuit was running ok on my 386/25 zeos. Then I got
a Cyrix upgrade chip, which boosts performance near 486/33,
and suddenly my joystick isn't working in WC! This really
sucks because the game is very noticably smoother so I want
to play more than ever before. The symptom is when I try to
turn in a corner, even if I hold it all the way to the side
it's not enough and I go sailing right off the track. All my
other games work fine with the new chip (including some other
Microprose titles). Sometimes when during calibration I get
an error like 'insufficient range' or something. I never got
that before the Cyrix either.

Anybody have any ideas?

I/O card. Maybe it's too slow for your 486 or something. I've
seen speed compensating I/O cards by Gravis and others.
