I tried my shifter today and it didn't work, so I took some screws out
and took it apart I fiddeld with it but I couldn't see a problem, does
anyone have a drawing or instructions of any kind? They would be greatly
appreciated.
Any url's with this stuff would be great also.

Hi,
It's possible that your shifter destroyed itself. The wires in the shifter
are often damaged a little bit by the moving of the shifterstick. Look into
the shifter unit using a flashlight and see if you really can't find any
broken wires. There probably should be.
If you find and repair them, look at my homepage to see how to avoid this
problem in the future.
By the way, didn't your cat, hamster, or other animal eat a bit of the
cable? Happens a lot it seems!
