PCAnywhere hosting

I tried it last night on my work machine.  When I went to connect from home, I
couldn't see the screen.  I tried it again AT work today from another machine.
When I connect and run GPL, the host system(server) just locks at a black
screen.  I had to power off to reboot.  I don't remember who said they had it
working great.  Send me an e-mail, please.  I must have something set wrong...
:(
Host system: Compaq Presario 4850, PII 300mhz, 80MB ram, 6.5 GB hard drive,
win95, PCAnywhere ver. 8.0.
Thanks.

It didn't work for me either until I chose "compatibility mode" for video. Start
PC Anywhere on the host machine, go to the File menu > Application options, then
hit the "Host operation" tab. Make sure that "Compatibility mode" is selected for
video.

Let me know if it still doesn't work, and remember, if the host machine uses a
Voodoo or voodoo2, you'll have to set GPL for software rendering.
