- Make a backup of your GPL.exe file, just in case....
- Open GPL.exe in the Hex editor of your choice.
- Goto offset 0x22F96
- You'll find a 74 there, replace it with EB
- save the file, run the game, have fun....

Not only that, but they said, the grafics engine and AI were taken over
unchanged from NASCAR1999, which is not true AFAIK.
They also state, that the physics are worse than N1999, I can't judge that,
because I didn't play N2 or N1999, but I can hardly believe it.

And this is AFAIK the most selled game magazine in germany !?!?!

True.  It seems they didn't really look into it.  It was a one column
sidebar buried at the back of the magazine, and the screenshot they chose
was a blimp view of the outside of an oval, with one car in the picture,
which made the graphics look very sparse.  I think they just didn't feel
like giving it half a chance.

Surprising about the Nascar review, because generally I find their reviews
objective.
