I'm using a 486/40 at home and a P5/90 in my office. On the office PC
Indycar works, not so on my home PC. I tried out to find any difference
between these two systems and changed the startup files in all possible
variants. I also pulled out all controller-cards not standard on my PC.
But nothing helps. The Problem is that I can't use either the keyboard
nor the joystick to handle the menus for taking a choice,even it is not
possible to quit Indycar correctly. I'm a very expirienced PC-user but
this problem kills my last nerves.

It's probably your game port that's giving you trouble.

Try disabling the gameport on your PC, enable the one on your sound card
and plug the joystick into the sound card. If you don't have a sound card,
try using a different game card. Make sure you don't have two game ports
enabled simultaneously.
