Silverstone on N3, N2, N99? Or sims that have Silverstone.

Hi,
Does anyone know where I could get the Silverstone track for N3? If it does
not exist for N3 perhaps N2 or N99?
And if all else fails what about other sims that have Silverstone or that I
could get Silverstone for?

Thank you,
Ed

At the moment it doesn't exist.  The only GPL track you can have publicly
for the old game engine is Watkins Glen.  You can find it part of the TPTCC
at theuspits.com

There is no other Papyrus title that have Silverstone.  And racing
simulators by other company are not compatible, of course.

Perhaps one day, in the not too distant future, games converters will
allow us to add cars, tracks and sounds from any title to another,
regardless of which built them.

Imagine the cars from Driver in Colin McRae Rally, or the cars from
GPL in Driver! Brings a tear to my eyes...

With a little work, you can convert the cars in the following example:

N1/ICR2 > Toca <> SCGT <> Carmegeddon <> Midtown Madness <> NFS

I haven't tried doing tracks...too much bother to make 'em fit.  =P

Cheers!

Well I personally feel it won't ever happen unless somebody comes out with a
standard.  But who the heck would care about a standard for tracks files for
a couple of games where you race a car in front of a monitor.  Seriously.

There's just no need for it.  We can still drool like geeks if we want, but
it will never happen.
