The night a fan saved my life

It is currently a cool and refreshing 28C in this room.  Today I bought a 9"
desk fan.  It is currently pointing directly at my processor. And blow me,
it works!  My processor is currently running at 40C where as before it was
crashing when the ambient temperature was 23C.  I can now play GTA3 in all
weathers thanks to very large desk fans.  Is this the only way to get PCs to
not crash in this day and age.  BTW I have a Slot A processor which you can
no longer buy any cooling for.

I used to have a Slot A Athlon 650 and it ran ridiculously hot.  I've
noticed that PC cases have improved dramatically since then and when I
tranferred that old machine into a new case before selling it, the
temperature was comparable to any other new Athlon.  I use my PC in 35C+
temps in summer and a second case fan is an absolute must.
