Gurus, help me tune up (N2K2)...

There was an N2K2 tweaks site whos URL I've lost - had various mods to ini
files that might help.  The usuals are done - vsync is off, anistropic (sp?)
off in both game menus and ini files.  I get better image quality -and-
better framerates in D3D.  Unusual for a GF card it seems?  Not using AA at
all.

I feel I should be getting a little more out of my new 1800XP/GF4MX440 - the
wife knocked the Ti4200 I was gonna get on the head :-(

I'm getting a 3DMark around 4260 and was hoping for a little more.  Previous
PIII 866/GF2 MX gave me circa 1900.

Could be my GF card is duff?  On the 3DMark high detail lobby test, the
characters are invisible except when lit up by gunfire.  Reflections in the
floor are still there, though.  Never happened on the last PC with either a
TNT2 or GF2.  No problems in any other tests...

Thanks in advance,

Mark

You'd been better off with a GF3 Ti200 than the GF4MX, but its a little late
for that. Due to the lack of feature support of GF4 you 3dmark score will
not be that great. I have a GF3 on a AMD 1800XP and score rigt around 7000
depending on the driver I'm using.

Speaking of drivers what driver version are you using for the GF4mx?

The discount descramblers website which had the tweaks for NR2002 is no
longer up so it dosen't really matter that you lost the link.  My friend has
it copied on his sight, but I don't have the link here.
