I'm sure this has been suggested before, but I don't remember seeing it.

What I was thinking was an 'IROC' of sorts.  Races in:
GPL
N2k3 cup
N2k3 TPTCC
N2k3 PWF
F1C

Maybe two 50-100% races in each game/mod, and keep track of points by finishing
position.  Anybody game?  I can host in all those game/mods, so a server isn't
a problem.  Feel free to throw rocks at the idea. :-)

Sounds fun :) Not sure about TPTCC and PWF - ***ed if I can tell the
difference ;) Could maybe add OWF.

I'd definitely like to race in this series. I agree with Neil in that TPTCC
and PWF are really the same since they use the same physics. I also agree
that the new Open Wheel Mod might be a good alternative.

I put both PWF and TPTCC there because some people prefer one over the other.
If I only used one, it would be TPTCC...

Open Wheel mod?  Ok, I gotta find that one.  If it's the one that one of my
league admins was talking about, he didn't give it a very good review.

Were going to try and run the Open Wheel mod (Mich) as this weeks RASCAR
race so we should have a better idea if it's up to par after Saturday.  Me
personally Im not all that thrilled with it.

Since the GTR press demo Ive said the same thing about every race sim/mod
since though.  Everything else just pales in comparison.  Dang you SBDT ;)
BTW are we gettin close to a GTR release?

I won't make that race.  I'm going to Michigan International Speedway.  There's
a model rocket club in Jackson that's having a launch day from 10am - 5pm...<g>

Yeah, I would have included GTR if it were available.  I think it will be a
slick game.

Hehe...  Yeah, IROC doesn't have the same feel as when it started, darnit.
I couldn't think of another way to describe it.  Multi-discipline sim-racing
championship? :-)
