N3 autochat problem

by Jeffrey Job » Sat, 22 Apr 2000 04:00:00

Hi

I am having problems with the autochat function in Nascar 3.  When using the
ctrl - (F1 - F10) keys, all I get is the standard menus for the function
keys.  I tired with both the patched and unpatched version of the sim.  I
have tried my ctrl key in other applications and it works.  Also I mapped
the sequence to my sidewinder steering wheel, but same deal.  I hate to say
this, as I here it often at work, but it was working, and the only thing I
have changed lately is carset.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanx

I have noticed when racing the converted road courses, that sometimes
the opposite happens.  When I want to check the standings with F2 I gett
the canned message instead as if I had pressed cntrl-f2.  People think
I'm off my rocker cuz I was sending out so many Pitting Now messages.
If I exit and reboot the problem clears up.
