     another particulary cool use of voice recognition will be included in a future
version of NASCAR (at least on the PowerMac version anyway).  Players will be able to
communicate with the pit crew as they drive, giving precise instructions on what tires
are to be changed, and what adjustments are to be made during the next stop.  

 it went on to say hopefully included in PC version if technology developes.

Ahhh... don't get your hopes up too high.  There is no Powermac
version of NCR 2 currently planned.

There is voice regognition in the Powermac version of ICR II.
However, this is because it's built into the Mac O/S for free.  No
such thing exists in DOS or Win 95.

        Hey Ed, It exists for OS/2!!!  :) By the time NR2 is out anyway. It also works
for a DOS program under OS/2. (hint hint)

So, since I run the current version under OS/2 Warp, will the new
version recognise OS/2 Merlins built in voice recognition???    B-)
