Well, he's been through a lot, and maybe since he's one of the 1st, 3rd
generation of a family to be prominent in NASCAR, I guess I would let it
slide a little bit... Damn shame about Adam IMHO. and hell, Kyle is an all
'round good guy I think, maybe not the best driver of the 4 generations, btu
a good guy... I know, so what...

No kidding. I remember reading some book years ago, (early 90's ?) quote
from Richard Petty, when M. Waltrip and Kyle were walking by the
shop..........something to the effect, good thing they have race
connections, because they couldn't do anything else, lol.
The HOF at 'dega is the International Racing Hall of Fame and not just
Talladega. I understand that he is being inducted for 'Furthering the sport
of Nascar' and his contributions to charitable causes. It is a nice place to
visit even if you are not there for a race. It is open about every day 9-5
(guessing). Take the track tour if you haven't before. TV does not really
give justice to the banking at Dega. The gentleman that does the tour has
been there virtually forever and can tell some really funny stories about
the early days too.

Ya' know Mitch, I'd like to see how you'd handle the pressure with your life
under a microscope every minute of every day since you were born. And BTW,
when was the last time you dropped a couple of million of your own money
into any charity? Kyle has done a lot with what he was given, so what if he
doesn't have the win record of his daddy...BFD.
