need some help

I've been racing GPL since it 1st came out with a T2 then when the
patch came out for FF with a MSFF. This was the only controller I had
connected.  Then last week I purchased a Siim USB pci card and installed
it,then  checked for conflicts in systems, and both the card and the hub are
fine.  I then installed a Logitech Wingman Digital 3D flightstick USB, but
couldn't get win98 (1st edition ) to reconize it. I tried adding a new
controller by selecting Logitech then Wingman Digital 3D with throttle USB
(and without throttle ), but no matter how many times I tried, win98 won't
install it.  I removed one controller before I added the other controller
and made sure it's listed as #1 in the advanced screen. But nothing works.

Yet when I attach the flight stick to the game port without the MSFF,
it works perfectly.

I've downloaded the latest drivers for the Wingman Digital 3D from
Logitech and checked at the Siim site for new drivers. I tried updating
through win98 as well, both with the CD and online, but nothing works.

Inorder to disconnect one controler and connect the other one, I have
to remove my printer, move the monitor, then turn the case.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Please reply off line as
well.

AMD K6-2/450
Voodoo3 3000 AGP
128 MB of SDRAM
win98 1st edition
Direct X 7.0a

Thanks,

Joel Willstein

The USB card should automagically detect the USB device as soon as you plug
it in. If it's not detecting it, I think the problem may be with your USB
card. I would start by contacting Siim.
