Because the programmers could not find away to allow different human pit
stalls and prevent the AI cars for crashing into them.  As it is in N2
there are some tracks where the AI will still crash into you in the
pits.

I also think that some of the tracks in the sim have extremeley "tight"
pit stalls and it would be impossible for the human to get into them
without turning all four wheels and "sliding sideways" into the stall.
