I am tempted to buy a Rend card after all the trouble my MonsterII card had
given me with GPL. But does anyone know if N3 will support Rend as well as
3dfx? Also what is best all around Rend card on the market right now?

Go get the Hercules Thriller 3d 8mb pci/agp v2200 rendition card for $100 or
less. You own't be siddapointed.

I don't know if its the best all around card or not but my Hercules
Thriller 8 mb AGP is working great with GPL and N2.

Nascar 3 was run at the Papyrus booth at Daytona on something (and I quote
this from people attending for the NROS finals) like a SLI Voodoo2 hardware.
Nobody still know what rasterizer they will support, but I seriously think
we can eliminate Direct3D. The fact that there is beta OpenGL drivers for
GPL make us think that Nascar Racing 3 will have a feature to support OpenGL
so a Rendition card wouldn't have a problem with it (as a Rendition card
support Direct3d, OpenGL and Rendition rasterizers).
It might include Glide but this I am unsure. But the long tradition of
Rendition support by Papyrus for N3 hopefully will be continued, as many
long-time Papyrus users have such card.
