If you take a look at the screenshots for EA's new NASCAR game that takes
place on road courses, it looks alot like an updated "Andretti Racing",
doesn't it?

Yes I said those comments on r.a.s. a couple of days before. They are
reusing the Andretti Racing game engine.  It could be a nice arcade game,
but nothing really good. Just a way by EA to slap another Nascar title on
the shelves.  I mean it wouldn't had been produced if it wasn't for a Nascar
license.

Im not sure if its the same engine or not, has simularities tho. The cars
image looks simular to Nascar Revolution modeling, but the tracks look like
a new engine to me.. It looks good in the picture tho, I just wonder how it
will play????

It looks to me like they stole some if not all the road courses from Andretti
Racing for this game.  I believe that the hairpin screenshot is from the
Vallejo track from Andretti Racing and the rest look strangely familiar.

BTW, Has anyone else noticed on Andretti Racing, that some of the tracks are
ripoffs of Formula 1 tracks?  Phalanx is a redone Silverstone, etc.  Hell, if
you have the Sega Saturn version, if you pop the CD in your PC and explore it,
some tracks in the tracks folder are named for F1 tracks!

Makes you wonder how they can come out with ***like this and and
stay in business while Papyrus almost goes bankrupt with a great
simulator like GPL??

Go figure...
