I've released N4Assistant v0.6.0.1. You can get it from here:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Main features:
- Go through the pit service control pages with F11 & F12.
- Automatically switch desktop to 16-bit color so that Nascar 4 OpenGL can
be run in 16-bit mode, and switch desktop back to original bit depth after
N4 exists.
- Log time spent in N4.
- Select player to use before launching N4.

I like the concept you have here.  However, If there is a way to do it I
think it might benefit some....  Currently the logged time is started when
N4 is started.  That's fine but if there's a way to start the logged time
when you start racing, that would be better.

I started N4 and went in the chat/racelist area for a moment then was
called away.  After 20 minutes I came back and shut N4 down.  I took a look
at what this application had and it said I ran N4 for 20 minutes.  It was
right but those 20 minutes were from sitting there in the chat/race list
area. Saying it ">- Log time spent in N4" I assumed it logged the time spent
racing.  Good idea as it is though :-)

Ideally I'd like to log both times separately (N4 running time and N4 racing
time). But N4Assistant only logs the time N4 is running because I don't know
of a way to determine when you're actually racing and when sitting in the
menus.

If someone has an idea of how to do this reliably please contact me.

Hi!

Maybe you could log the time when controller-inputs occur.
Anyway: Thanks for the program :)!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Papy didn't listen when I
asked for that feature, fat chance!

They know physics, but the GUI is truly "arcade"... ;)
