RT, a few gripes

I've been playing with the RT demo for a few days now. Overall I'm rather
impressed by what I've seen. The graphics are top notch, the physics on the
whole are believable and the user interface is pretty easy to work through,
however there are a few things I'm not quite happy about.

The first thing, which doesn't really affect gameplay I hasten to add. I
like to configure my start menu in a logical manner. ie. I put shortcuts for
games in a games folder, work programs in a work folder etc. etc. If you
move the JoWood shortcut from the root programs shortcut folder, it
reconfigures and puts itself back in again. Please, I want control where all
my shortcuts are.

I'm not sure whether it will be changed in the full release of the game, but
to change any options after you have started a stage at the moment, you have
to quit the game and restart it.

The cars REALLY need to have a control axis or at least button mapped as a
clutch, the damn thing just bogs down in 1st gear at low revs, hairpin turns
I imagine would be a nightmare.

The replay needs the ability to save and playback so we can show off our
skills (or lack of ! ;) ) to friends, a facility to go to any part of the
replay would also be very nice. Once again, I realise this is only the demo
and I'd hope the full game will have a good replay facility.

Overall though, the game is very nice, the physics of the Mini don't feel
quite right, but I have heard that they are already improved for the full
release, please say it's so :)

To the developers, please don't take this as criticism of the game, it's a
fine piece of work from what I've seen so far, just a few points which (to
me at least) would make RT the top Rally sim available.

RT, a few gripes

When does it move?  I just used the start/settings/taskbar & menu program
to move it to my racing sim folder and it went with no complaint.  I did
leave the default path of jowood/rally demo...   but it seems to move with
no problem.
ps  are you trying to move the whole program folder or just the shortcut
menu items that activate with the start button?

Just the start menu shortcuts, when I started my PC after moving it I had a
box pop up saying configuring Rally Trophy and voila, 2 shortcuts to RT ;)
One in the games menu, where I moved it to and a new one back in the
programs menu. Very weird behaviour !! :)
