SBK - A Question

by James Iso » Wed, 07 Jul 1999 04:00:00

Hi there,
Does anybody know if EASports are bothering to make a network patch for
SBK, or if they have left it how it is?
Cheers

James

Ah, at last somebody else who agrees with me - SBK's network code is
flawed!

We had 6 or 7 bikes on the track a couple of months ago and every few
seconds we all experienced freezes, then when the game woke up, we were
lying beside the track after a crash while the game was dozing! Needless
to say we didn't play that one again.

BTW
We also found a limit of 3 cars in a network game of TOCA 2, any cars
above that seemed to drop out after a few mins, leaving a ghost of
themselves on the track!

What's the best race game for network play? It must be able to handle up
to 8 PC's ranging from MMX 200's (with voodoo1) to PII450's.
How about NFS II SE, that's on budget now for only 15 quid?
