Of course, your friends may be playing an emulated version of
Gran Turismo. PSEmu is able to run the game, though with many
glitches at this point.

> You rekon???? Viper Racing is more a mix of GT and Nascar-style racing. It's
>biggest problem is that your always stuck in the one car. THE BEST thing about
>GT is the great representation of the nearly 300 cars (PAL version), from the

-Poor AI
-Not enough AI
-Not flexable- races way too short, or way to long
-Few courses- they are all based on 4 or so circuits, with multiple routes.
*yawn*
- Cars- about 25 out right- with countless different spec models. It's hardly
what i'd refer to over "300" different models.
- No damage modelling
- No***pit view
What is brilliant- is the Driver licensing system, now that is interesting,
and challanging for progression.
It's certainly one of the Top PSX driving games around- and the original
"hype" made me buy mine, but i've kept it and got games of which style are not
avalaible on the PC- console, quirky, etc, which work so well on the Console
format.

I wish - but I don't think so :-/

I'm just counting them out here so I remember (been playing too much GPL
:): The street courses (route 5 and 11, I think), High speed ring, Autumn
Ring, Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, Grand Valley, The Oval. That makes 8,
and I think there are one or two more that I fail to recall. No GPL, but
no Ridge Racer either.
I won't say anything about this, gotta see the game again. I would say
there are at least 50 really different cars.
You mean dash and all, right?
