I can answer now.  Go find out for yourself what alot of other people
are too busy to tell you.  It rocks and the best is still yet to come!
I was along with alot of people unsure how the system was going to hold
up under the stress of release.  It worked fine in beta and now, it
worked even better under release!!  I did not see anything out of the
unusual last night and would say is = to or even better than the racing
on Hawaii.

Pardon?  An *extra* ninety-five percent of a dollar a minute?  They're
paying "Mr. Bandwidth" waaaaay too much money!

Assuming it's like any other online service, we're talking a minimum
5 bucks just to get a race started, IF you're lucky.

Think I'll stick to racing for free on the Zone with CPR.

Actually, it is 95 cents an _HOUR_ , not a minute.  The person who
orgionally posted was incorrect.
This is $5.00 an hour cheaper than Hawaii for me, so it is a pretty good
deal. But .....

My ISP here in El Paso doesn't have a low enough ping time for me to
play through the internet.  This is annoying, but it was expected.

The TEN dialup server here is fairly fast..  when connecting to some
race areas I can get Mr. Bandwidth to show yellow, some blue, and others
are red.

Once you get into a race, it is actually pretty good.  The last race I
ran I experenced no warping at all.

The bigest problem carried over from Hawaii...  Buttheads.  In both
races I ran tonight, some jughead stopped at the botom of turn 1 so
someone would run into them.  Putz.

If you create the race, you have the option of keeping known abusers out
of your race.  Problem is, it takes a few races to figure out who these
people are.  A master KILLFILE would be great.  While this is fairly
inexpensive as compared to Hawaii,  it still bites to be crashed out of
a race by a bonehead.

Because he has to pay Don. He doesn't want it if it ain't free. Besides,
I'm sure he would have more fun playing on the Zone if you get my drift.
<G>  See ya on the track Don.

Think that was wrong.  .95 an hour I think is a better understanding.

(snip)
Yer right...095 per hour for a TEN dialup. My two ISP's couldn't
cut it so I signed up with Concentric. But... I have no local access
number (it's a toll call) so I'll pay anywhere from 1.50 per hour to
.90 per hour until they hook up a pop on this side of Sacramento county.
Concentric connections are good, and the racing is great.

Gavel on TEN

I agree with you, I get better connection on TEN (28,8) than connecting to
hawaii through a 14,4
