it's "dead" zone. that was totally hilarious.

sorry, but i don't know how to adjust it. thanks for the great laugh,

DirectX has a deadzone (in DirectInput) so if the app will allow you
to set it, you can. Perhaps the more game oriented OSes Win9x/ME have
control panel settings for default deadzones. And there are some utils
out there which can fiddle with deadzones underneath the app's
awareness. Others can name names hopefully!
