DTR: Fastlap question (wetness)

Maybe I'm missing something here, or maybe I've thought about something I
haven't seen mentioned before:

If someone says "I just got a lap record of 19.435 seconds at
xyz-track"....,
then surely that "record" is only valid for the corresponding track-wetness
number??

So it would be more like "I just got a lap record of 19.435 seconds at
xyz-track at 50%wetness"??

Am I just being trivial, or does  the wetness factor make a difference to
lap times(haven't tried it yet)??

Good question. In the real sport of dirt track racing when it comes
to records there is no mention of track wetness.

You're not being trivial and the wetness factor does make a
difference to lap times but tradition dictates that we ignore track
wetness and other external factors.
