Great!  now for the hard part...

Why would I want 5* toe-out or toe-in in the front?
Why would I want 5* toe-out or toe-in in the rear?

While driving in a strait line, What are the effects on the tires
with 5* toe-in?  Temps (I-M-O)?
While driving in a strait line, What are the effects on the tires

    While turning.....toe-in?
    While turning.....Toe-out?
What is the benefits of using Toe-in in a strait and in the turns?
What is the benefits of using Toe-out in a strait and in the turns?

What is the maximum Toe-in/toe-out that I can use without looking at
a complete rebuild of the setup?
eg; You never, ever want to have more then 60* toe-in

Partial answer:

Front wheels:

Toe-in for stability goin down the straights. (Most all real-life -
transportation - cars have 0.5 - 1.5 deg toe in.) Trade off: less speed on
the straights.

Tie-out for greater initial turn-in on the corners, and more responsiveness
to steering inputs.

Rear wheels:

WTF do I know? Nuttin'. I just put about 1 degree toe-in on the rears and
have at it.

Av/Mikey

(I think that you'd want no more than 2 degrees toe for anything. Some may
disagree, but I think 5 deg would scrub your tires off and slow you down
immensely.)

What Mike says in the post above is correct, but the only problem is that
GPL doesn't model toe very well.  Basically you can put in -5 toe in the
front and +5 toe in back and you will have a stable car that turns VERYVERY
nicely (drops 1-2 seconds at the glen) yet changes top speed by 1MPH or
less.  Not very noticeable and very unrealistic.  It's a shame and I hope it
is fixed in the patch.  But for now, you might as well just benefit from it
hehe.

I did some testing at Monza and tried the max and min for toe-in and toe-out,
but it didn't affect top speed, so my guess is that Papyrus didn't simulate
that.
