I bought the original converter. At that time it was stated that all
upgrades would be free.
Will that be honored or must we pay again?

The original converter was for GPL correct?  This converter is not an upgrade to that, its an
entirely new converter.  If he upgrades the GPL converter I would assume he would honor that.  You
could always send him an e-mail as he would be the person to give the best answer.
