Is it worth to spend more?

Thank you

I have improved my GPL Rank by nearly 4 seconds since getting a BRD Sim
Classic wheel 2 months ago. I bought the Speed7 pedals about 1 month later
but have yet to set a PB using them, although I have been racing better in
N2002 using the new pedals. IMO high end controllers are definitely worth
the money. If you are preapred to spend 300 on a graphics card, spending a
similar amount on a decent controller that will last a lot longer seems
sensible to me.

You might say it's worth it only if you have the descretionary(sp?)
income available.  If you are cash strapped, then no.  But as the old racing
addage goes...
If somebody asks how fast can the car go?...The mechanic will answer:  How
much money do you have?

Hear hear

I have a home made wheel, sort of like a TSW replica, and a set of
Redline pedals, every so often I get to try another "standard"
wheel/pedal set....and wonder why I didn't switch earlier

Am I faster with this setup than my previous ones.....that I don't know,
but most likely, but I know that I'm enjoying it more, and that's the
whole point

Beers and cheers

Phil,

Excellent point.  That's why I hung on to my Voodoo5 for so long. I
purchased a TSW2 basic with split axis last summer and it was the best $250
I ever spent.  Now I just got a Visiontek XTacy Ti4 4400.

The difference between the T2 I *had* and the TSW2mod I bought was like night
and day.  The steering was so much smoother that my average laptimes got faster
almost immediately.
