Somewhat (not very) OT: GO GET THE JULY 17 AUTOWEEK!!!!!!

Life is good.  Life is VERY VERY good.

I got my July 17 Autoweek today (subscriber)...

Cover car: Lotus 49B in which Jo Siffert won the 1968 British GP.
Cover article: GOODWOOD!!!! =)

Not as many photos as I would like...then again I wouldn't be satisfied
unless they printed each and every shot they took over there and that
would fill a large book probably...but I just LOVE the shot of the 426
Dodge Daytona next to a Mercedes CLK GTR next to a McLaren F1 GTR (the
supercar)

Lots of awesome cars...Damon Hill in a 1968 Honda RA301, John Surtees
(hehe =) in a 1966 Honda F1, Tony George in AJ Foyt's Watson, Gurney in
his '67 Eagle T1G (gotta love the chrome job on the exhaust headers!!!),
the 6-wheeled 1977 Tyrell, and even Junior Johnson in a 1963 Chevy
Impala with a 'Mystery Motor' 427 in it!!!!

And, of course, "...But Wait, There's More."

Said one reporter to Junior Johnson: "So, Mr. Johnson, how well does
your 1963 Mystery Motor Chevy stay on the pavement in this drizzle?"
Junior's reply: "It don't."

Best issue of Autoweek I've ever seen...

As it says on the cover -- GRANDWOOD!

;-)

You forgot to mention the part where they mention that Dan Gurney
himself clocked the winning time in his class, driving his 1967 Eagle-
Weslake F1 car.

Did you notice the piece on Speed Racer's Mach 5 on page 9, too?  This
issue literally has EVERYTHING!
