:         After i updated my Icr2
:         i got a message  "unable to write to Car dat file "
:         and Paintkit doesn't work for cars95
:         but will work for any other car sets

:         anyone else have this trouble .......if so any thoughts on how to
:         solve this .

Sloppy QA on the patch.  The patch does not change the cars95.dat or
drivers2.txt files' attributes from READ-ONLY.  Just turn off the
READ-ONLY attribs and paint away.  However, the patch does not upgrade
the paintkit.  You can find the paintkit patch at
