What's a couple of bucks when you get the correct track, the correct
banking, surroundings, etc.
If you want a hacked version of Texas(which is just C***te),
California(which is just Michigan), and Indy...well dunno.
I'd rather have the real thing than just some fake knockoffs that don't
even look like the real thing.
I have a real good Indy. I live a few blocks from the track, been around it
twice on my motorcycle, so I can tell ya' it's pretty damn accurate. I'm
pretty sure it came from IC2. Sierra would be angry if I posted it here,
though... : ) email me and I'll tell you where to get it.

There is only 1 version of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The only
difference between 2 versions would be the graphics.
It's true that the track is accurate, and the bumps are fairly well done.
The track is from the Indycar Racing 1 expension pack that contained the
Indianapolis track and a paintkit.
Ewww. From a personal way. Don't post it here. DON'T. DO NOT. Take
this as a help. It would cause you way more trouble that you can think.
E-mail bombing, flames, personal attack, more flames, Papyrus phone call,
more flaming, etc...

OK, what about people living in England? It might be out over here but I
certainly haven't seen it anywhere.

The only bumps on the real track are the bricks at the start-finish line.
And you can barely feel that. What do you mean?
OK
I'm not stupid enough to post a binary to a non binary newsgroup. I meant
usenet in general.

If your looking at the graphics, something is wrong in your driving ;-)
Was I was trying to say is that the corners aren't perfectly banked.
Ewwww, you non-intentionally flamed me.... don't ask why :-P

Yep, that's my problem. I get so caught up in looking at the Service
Merchandise logo running eight inches off my front bumper at Talladega I
completely miss turn three and shoot straight up into the wall. End of race.
Maybe this could be a good topic for actual how-to posts here instead of flame
wars over which is better CART Racing or CART Precision Racing. I would love
to see actual driving tips from some of the better racers here.
Tell me, where do you focus your attention when drafting behind a car? I get
so white-knuckled in this situation I start darting all over the track looking
like Cole Trickle playing peekaboo in Rowdy's mirror. I want to start driving
like they do in the opening movie for Nascar2. Usually this situation ends
with me in the wall or at least, putting someone else into the wall. I can
tell you, I will be personna non gratta in NROS if I don't learn to control it
a little better.
