It seems all the IBM fans have a great game in the new NASCAR game.  My
platform is the MAC.  I have tried two racing games that are somewhat
reasonable for the Mac, Ferrari and Bill Elliot's Nascar Challenge.
        The Ferrari game does not offer keyboard steeering so steering is
limited to the mouse which is difficult at best.
        I've played with the Elliot game to make it playable at least at
Daytona.  Wtihout fiddling, I found that by the fourth lap I was already
a lap down.  I would like more competion than the Elliot game has with
its eleven cars.  The manufacturer told me a little over a year ago that
they would not update this program. It's a poor substitute for the fun
most everyone is having with Nascar.
        Is there any good racing games for the Mac that anyone can
recommend.  If so please tell me where to acquire them.

IndyCar Racing for Macintosh will be shipping in the 4th quarter this
year. This program uses NASCAR's engine, so you can imply what you will

Never fear.....The (THE) king of racing sims, Papyrus, is currently working on
porting IndyCar and NASCAR Racing to the Mac....Should be available by the
end of the year....or sometime around then.
