There I was minding my own business, tucked in behind a little Poorsha
with it's two paltry terbows....The mighty Viper loafing along as we checked
out the top speed of the 'little' car.
Through the two Mulsaane Chicanes...approaching the only hill on the
course...when...........

"Attention, this is your Captain Speaking...your Viper will be flying 20
feet off the ground for about 3.5 seconds...please observe the no smoking
signs and fasten your seatbelts."

.........
Up she went, floating on the breeze...the nose high in classic blow-over
posistion...but the weight of the big rear brought the car down and the
landing was hard.... WHEW!
the ALMS cars handle the hill fairly well, but the FIA-GT cars, as Eden
has pointed out....blow over ....this will be a pickle online...
time to load up the LMP 900s from LM2k1.

I just watched lemans on tv, and they have redone the track this year, so
the
cars wont fly anymore.

Maybe a 2002-track for F1 2002? =)

It would be cool if that COULD happen online. Adds to the skills you need.
You also need a pilot's license. :-)

Just did a back flip in the Lister over the jump and landed facing the right
way going in the right direction (although in a mighty tankslapper) :)

First time I ran the SCGT version (which the new v3 mod version is based on)
I'd expected the same results as in GPL - the revs kick up and a bit light.
Wrong. Up, up, and away.... :)

Hehe. GPL cars are tubes on wheels. Modern race cars are upside-down planes.
In GPL, grip comes from gravity. In modern race cars, it comes from magic :)

(Ok, aerodynamics then. Basically it's the same thing).
