Nascar 2: it's so funny (and stupid..)

After playing N2 for months and months on my (very) old computer, using the
3Dfx patch and my Voodoo1 card (without it the game was REALLY unplayable
slow), I decided to get a new computer. A fast beast. So I did. A Celeron
266 o.c. to 333 (wow! Yeah, well, it's long time ago already ;-) and a
Voodoo 2 card. That ended my N2 days. I just couldn't get the V2 to work
with N2. So I deleted it from my computer...

Now, after a long, long time, the stories about N3 got me e***d and I
really wanted to play N2 once more. But that rotten V2 card... Suddenly I
thought: let's see how it goes without Voodoo support. Would you believe I
never ever tried that? And boy, am I amazed (and do I feel stupid!): the
game runs perfectly! Smooth as silk with all options on. Pixelated, okay,
but VERY playable! I never even thought about it: N2 is already a bit old,
much older than my current computer!

So now I'm happily cruising on C***te and Taladega. Still, I hope N2
won't stay too long on my hard disk: I can't wait to replace it with Nascar
3...
