I'm a big fan of this show but unfortunately, we don't get it in Canada. I
usually download parts of episodes from P2P networks. One video i downloaded
was sort of a memorial to Stig, their test driver. What happened to him?

He "died" when they did a stunt of a 100 yard race between the old
Jaguar that they souped up with NOX and something like a Tornado jet
on the deck of an aircraft carrier. The Jag didn't stop at the end of
the runway, supposedly taking the enigmatic Mr Stig to a watery
demise.

I belive that the Stig wanted todo personel apperances at car shows etc on
his own, the BBC said no as he was a charector created by them. They both
fell out so he quit !!

I'm suprised we didn't hear about that on Speed.  I bet the Navy is
