High Gear Poll (Sim of '99)

RC2000 is far out in front in this poll at High Gear.
http://www.racesimcentral.net/;Despite their explanation, powersims.com
decision to not even consider RC2000 at all for their sim of the year award
manages to seem even more ridiculous. Maybe we could pass around a
collection plate so they can get a copy and finally see what they are
missing. I don't even see it listed anywhere on that site.

It seems even more ridiculous to add a sim that's not even available here in the States. Yes you could order it online but most everyone goes to their local store to purchase it. So until then RC2000 is just vaporware in the local stores.

RC2000 isn't made by UBI soft, if you're referring to the UBI Rally sim,
that one isn't coming out for months so I can't understand what it does
in a survey for best sim of 99...

Your right lets all vote for something most of us have never seen!
It could be the best sim out there right now but if they choose to ignore
North America then how can we decide?

Ubi Soft distributed RC2000 by Magnetic Fields in parts of Europe.

It takes about 3 minutes to order it from a company like gameplay.com

It will be available here in the U.S. next month.

You noticed, too, huh?  I was going to ask who the HELL would nominate
something like that!  All I can assume is they only had Demolition Racer to
compare it to.

David, I don't order games over the net usually and being available
in the States next month may not help me as I live in Canada although
usually we get games about the same time. GP500 is available here.
I will get it when it is available at EB.

Not sure where you live, but I found it last week in Montreal at downtown
Camelot store.  A bit expensive at $62CDN.  I haven't seen GP500 yet in any
local EB's in Ottawa.
