Stanley
Hi
Can somebody help me out with what the numbers in the calendar file
mean? I'd like to organise my own season.
Thanks,

3 19 0 0 AUSTRAL 1995
This means:
1. Month
2. Day
3. First race at that track = 0, Second race = 1 (this loads wind2 and
temp2 from that tracks text file. As far as I can see, there are no
double races in the ICR2 (1995) season.)
4. Day race = 0, Night race = 1 (obviously they're all at day and will
probably crash if you put '1' in as ICR2 won't have the night race
pallete.)
5. Directory name, ie. which track this race should load.
6. The year? Well I guess you could find out if ICR2 is "Year 2000"
compatible. ;)
Basically if you're not bothered about the dates, just change the
tracks around (the directory name for them) to create your own season.
You should be able to add two tracks to one season by reading my ponit
3.
I'm sure someone will make sure nothing I've written runs into any
probs. Or any known bugs with messing with this in ICR2.

I've gotten my calendar the way I want most of it to look like except I
put:
9 28 1 0 MICHIGAN
and it still says September 7 - Laguna Seca as the last race.
A lil' help here!

Right, I think I have it solved.
What you wrote should work! The only thing is you must start a New
Season for the changes to take place. If you are into a season then
the calendar file (obviously, when you think about it) can not be
changed. I believe it must be dumped into the season save file which
holds the race winner and points etc..
As far as I can see the 3rd and 4th numbers do nothing. So just
arrange your calendar in chronological order and make sure to start a
New Season to see the changes. I added the line you sent me above and
started a New season and there it was at the bottom! You did add it to
the bottom? Keep it in natural order and within one year (1995) to be
sure.
I guess this means that you can have an infinite season! I see no
reason why you can't have 3+ plus races at each track.
Hope this helps,
