He who remains nameless will shortly suffer a bitter defeat when the IDT
gang releases a demo of the long awaited update to the Champcar mod.  I
suspect it will be out within the next day or so, for F1c.  I got an
advanced peek and it's a big step up...these guys have done themselves
proud.

(I realize the release of a partial mod based on Champcars won't cause T
Effin G to lose any sleep, but it sure dang-well makes ME feel good.)
From the little hints the IDT has dropped,  I 'THINK' they have made
connections with Kevin Kalkoven and quite possibly we may see a full blown
sim, hopefully based on the well received Motor 2 engine that is being
crafted right now for rFactor by ISI.   All that is just supposition on my
part.  Who knows what is really going on, but for now...

Good news, Dave! Will it feature the current champcar tracks, too?

Make sure to post early here if you catch and hints on that! ;-)

It's a wonder he can live with the dissappointment.  The royaltie fees
and added profile it would have brought in for his series would have
been worth.... well, um, er,  well I'm sure it would have outweighed
the lawyers fees I guess..

Great to hear a Champ Car sim could actually happen. Looking forward to
more info.

So that's how you spell that.

The more one is a controlling type, the more 'little' leaks get under
their skin.  Sleep Well on that Pea Princess TG.

The posts on RSC seem to indicate they won't release everything,  I'm
not sure what will see the light of day.  But there is a new wider
Vancouver,  St Pete, the Milwaukee oval(that has been impossible to find),
Vegas oval, I don't know how many of the tracks they were working on like
Denver will see the light of day.

Alot of the tracks have already been available to the ISI mods.  So with
a little effort, most of the classic tracks could be assembled.
