?Full bodied cars in GPL?

by David Er » Wed, 12 Jul 2000 04:00:00

Just came from GPLEA site ( http://www.racesimcentral.net/) and see they have an as
yet uncompleted  project called SCGT Legends in the works(1967 Sports
Prototypes). While I enjoy SCGT I had to wonder what GPL would be like with
Ford Mk4's, Ferrari P4's, lolas, etc battling it out (1000 kms of
Nurburgring anyone?). Are full bodied cars even possible in GPL or is there
some limitation in the code that prevents covering the wheels? I can't
recall ever seeing a fully enclosed GPL vehicle. Anyone know of anything in
the works?

If you mean the screenshots at the GPLEA site I'd assumed they were for the
sim Sports Car GT by EA Sports. If they're for GPL instead well, hey, colour
me delighted :) I'll go look again.
