GP2 reverse problem-Help!

If I use manual shifting and go to reverse, I am unable to
shift back to ANY gear. I have the T2 wheel. Everything else
seems to be working with the game. Sometimes when I hit a wall,
the spin correction won't turn me away, so reversing is my only
option. Is this a bug with the game? The T2? Any help would be
very appreciated. Joel

What bothers me is that the gearbox is "smart" enough not to allow
me to shift into too high a gear.  But it won't lock out reverse while
I'm traveling forward.  I don't do this often, but it can happen.

I want to move the buttons to the wheel.  In a real F1 car, which
side of the wheel are each of the shift buttons on?

I'm following the season.  Why aren't we seeing any times from
Estoril?

I'd have said - both sides.  Down shift on the left, up shift on the
right. That's how I've got mine set (on my custom built racing***pit
fnar fnar!!!).

I think it depends. I know Jacques Villeneuve has two lever, the one
on the left for his clutch and the one on the right for shift up and
down. He pushes on the lever for shift down and pull for shift up.
