Psygnosis (F1) - Their Customer Service is as lousy as their products!

This is what I got back after my second attempt to e-mail a question to
Psygnosis about Formula 1 upgrade plans. There response is to give them
more money buy calling their 900 number! I don't know what others think
of this company, but they aren't getting anymore of my cold cash! If
your thinking about buying Psygnosis product think again!

ORIGINAL MESSAGE TO PSYGNOSIS:

I see you are going to release a new version of Formula 1.  Is your
company going to offer a upgrade discount to those of us who got burned
on the first version. I have played that $50 game three times for no
longer than three laps before giving up. I know from reading the
newsgroups that I am not the only one who feels they got ripped on this
title. Would be good customer relations to offer a upgrade special to
us!

Psygnosis (F1) - Their Customer Service is as lousy as their products!

I bought this thing on the strength of the FIA approval and the install
went badly, the thing took a 'fatal exception' each time I ran it and
once my machine went down, all the way down.  There is no doc with it
and configuring for Thrustmaster T1 is more agony than I'm interested
in.  Once I got it all the way up and when I selected Grand Prix as
opposed to Arcade, it crashed and was gone.

I bought it last night and am taking it back today.

We should complain about those non-professional company, doing F1 game,
directly to the FIA, FOCA,
so they choose better and reliable company.

Good Idea...Here is the FIA website address. Unfortunately, there is no
e-mail links!

http://www.fia.com/

[...]

I think if the FIA cared, they would've tried it themselves and
realized it was a piece of crap.
They don't care, and I think they just want the cash.
That's why there are so many liscensees.

It's eventually going to bite them in the ass. Putting your
"seal of approval" on half-assed products kills credibility.
