Looking for an offline racing league that will follow the 2000 F1 Season?
Then take a few minutes to check out http://www.racesimcentral.net/. This site is
dedicated to hosting "offline" Racing Simulation Leagues and has been
designed to accommodate any type of racing game that can generate a saved
game file. We're currently set up for Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation 2
and it is our intention to build in support for the long awaited GP3 as soon
as it's available.
Currently, we are strictly an "offline" racing league where results are
submitted via saved game files. Although I admit there is no substitute for
a live, breathing opponent, this league is looking to cater to those people
who would like some form of competition but don't like the "rigidity" of an
online league where you have to race at a pre-arranged time and date. In
other words, this league is for people with busy lives who would like to
participate at their own leisure. You need only submit your saved game file
anytime before the deadline.
What does this site have to offer that makes it different from all those
other leagues? Well first of all, our web pages are all dynamically created
in order to give you the most up-to-date information whenever you ask for it
(rather than as soon as the webmaster gets around to it). This site is
based on a live database back-end, meaning the results are available in the
short time it takes the completely automated system to generate them once
the race submit deadline has been reached. No more waiting!
We've also tried to make this site fun to surf by filling it with plenty of
internal hyperlinks to all sorts of related stuff including detailed driver
and team statistics, track records for each circuit, a forum for your
post-race reports and still more great things to come!
So take a look around, we hope you like what you see and decide to join us
for our first official season. Who knows, maybe it's your photo we'll see
at the top of the podium!
