My first WinWROC win!

I finally did it! I won a VROC race! It was at Monza, I qualified 5th out of
6 because I got in late and couldn't get a good lap in, my qualifying time
was 1:32.32. So I'm starting 5th, and I go up to 3rd at the start, because
I'm very good at accelerating smoothly and quickly. Then, in the 2nd turn, I
went down the inside, and passed the 2nd place guy. I was about 2 seconds
behind first place for about 3 laps when he spun out and had a problem. I
was in the lead and started taking away about 2 seconds from the guy behind
me each lap. I was doing low 1:31's and high 1:30's the whole race, and the
guy behind me must of spun once or twice. I took the win by 18 seconds over
2nd, 25 seconds or so over 3rd, and then in 4th, the former leader was a lap
down and 2 guys crashed. I'm so happy. I can't believe how much adrenline it
gave me :) I get less in a kart race (I'm 13) probably because I haven't
lost to anyone in the past year and a half :) But anyways, WinVROC is very
fun, and it should be more fun once my dad gets this damn ADSL working :)

BTW, I spun on the last corner on the last lap cuz I was so nervous, but
atleast I floored it and spun it back around quickly.

Good job Alex,

I was in that race Alex. I finished third after my usual 3 spins. By the
way I'm 46, just started racing karts and I get the same rush from GPL.
I however lose all my kart races but have a blast anyway. Again good job

My first WinWROC win!

I finally got my ADSL working now! I was more nervous because the first win is
always the hardest :) I race on a little indoor track with these mini sprint cars.
The track is pretty small, so you only reach about 30 (but it feels faster!)  but
they have a good amount of torque so you have to use a lot of throttle control. A
lot of other kids aren't calm enough, or don't pace themselves, or they got on the
power to hard and quick.
