Whatever happened to good old fender-bashing?  I think this patch would have
gotten a lot more attention if it had been timed better.  As far as
nastalgia goes, it seems like everyone has open-wheel fever.


patch, but with GPL out, it seems like it has no support now.

attention !

I'm glad you asked about that!
We've had some setbacks due to a few unforseen problems, but now the
project is up to a full head of steam, and we hope to have it ready to
roll within a month or so.  We've got some of the absolute best N1
workers on the team, and trust me, you won't be dissappointed when you
see the results.
Maybe we can slide a few teaser screen shots out in a week or so.
