The Grand Prix Legends - East Coast Racing League has a couple openings
available for the upcoming season, beginning in January.

The format is:  Intermediate Long, Races on Mondays at 10pm EST
We'll be running the Papy tracks, interspersed with a good mix of add-on
tracks.

There is a good spread of skill levels, so you are sure to have someone
to race with.

Also, the server is bandwidth patched and can support a full grid.  Full
race results and race replays are posted after the races.  There is also
a message forum to keep in touch with other members, a dedicated 24-7
TeamSpeak server, and a setup database so you can share/download setups
from other members.

Question: How do you guys determine what chassis a driver uses?  It doesn't
appear to be based on GPLRank, and it's not described in the rules.  Also, are
there *any* penalties for a shift-r?

You pick the chassis you want.  Nobody is being forced into a particular
one.  The league boss did want all cars to be represented, and as of now
they are.  The members page isn't 100% accurate yet with what people will
be running for the next season.  There is a thread in the message forum
that has a more up-to-date list.

There are penalties for a shift-r if it causes any kind of problem.  For
example, resetting in front of oncoming traffic causing an accident.
Although GPL does say it won't let you reset unless the track is clear,
that isn't fool-proof and incidents happen from time to time.

I hope to see you in!
