Track guides for N3???

by J Kop » Wed, 05 Jan 2000 04:00:00

I can remember back in the old days that there were a number of sites that
had track guides for each of the tracks.  Some included pictures of key
braking/accelartion points, replays of prefered lines and qual runs,
recommended rpms thru corners, etc and a general decsription of how to get
around the track quick.

I have been looking to see if there are any out there for N3, but have been
unsuccessful so far.  Does anyone happen to know of a site or two that has
N3 track guides up?  Thanks

Man, you must have a hell of a time getting around Sears Point then, eh?

Sorry, couldn't resist either. =)

As far as speeds at certain points on the track.. Give it three months
and those speed points will change, then another three months and again
they'll change.  The driving line will always stay the same or very very
close to the same.  Same goes for the RPMs.  Specific gears will always
be a constant in the oval tracks and road courses as well.  So, once a
driving line and a gear change for specific points id found, gearing
ratios and speeds will increase.

I can't say where to look for these driving lines for N3, but for GPL
F3 racing, Mike Horton does (or will very soon) have a description for
each track... http://www.bus.nait.ab.ca/staff/mikeh/gpl/index.htm
