GP2 freezes

i have installed GP2 in many ways in windows in dos and it always freezes up
when i try to start driving. i can get off the jacks and move a bit then it
freezes any suggestions?

I had a problem when I first installed it. It seemed to be atributable
to my EMM386 driver in my config.sys. I removed that, and Gp2 has
worked fine ever since.

Just a thought.
