I was up tull 04:00 last night racing a few fellow countrymen on
VROC - I came as close to a sub 1:30 as you get: Exactly
1:30,00!!!!!!

A new PB - and a new handicap of 101,80

But as you said now its back to business at the Ring to get
that sub 9:00

I think I just saw mention on another thread that if you select
keyboard keys for accelerator and braking it will automatically turn
on AutoBrake regardless of how you have it set in Options.

(how cheap do you suppose they'll mark the LWFFs when they're
superceded by the new ones in July? <g>)

Well done!
How many long have you two been playing this game before reaching 1:30 at
Monza?
A week? two months, a year?
1:30 seems impossible to me right now!!, I am stranded around 1:32 :-(

Keep practicing Cyrille. I've only had GPL 3 months with about 2-3 hours a week
to practice. Spent about half of that at Monza. Now I can consistently run low
1:30's and with an occasional high 1:29.  I was running about 1:32 until I
discovered that I only needed to brake gently for a very short time before curva
grande (at the road on the right), shift to 4th and then let the engine slow me
down until from there until the apex.  The second big advance I made was to
shift up into 3rd before the apex to the 2nd lesmo and the parabolica.  You get
less wheel spin (easier to control) and you save a shift while accelerating.
(special thanks to the Lights Out Racing track guides for the tips
http://lightsoutracing.simplenet.com/trackguides/track1.html ).  I think my next
step is going to require a change in technique; more anticipate what the car
will do rather than drive in and react to what it does.

But first I need to get a few laps in at all the tracks so I can get listed on
GPL rank. (managed a 9:58.23 at the Ring last night, YAY!)
