...i still don't feel bad buy downloading the warez version of GPL a couple
of weeks before the real deal came out. i went down to the store (trying not
to look to e***d) like everybody else on the first day it was available
and laid out my $35. the game would still be a steal at $200, in my opinion.
how much do you think it would cost to have someone do something like that
from scratch for your own personal enjoyment? zillions.
perhaps i don't feel guilty or even feel that downloading it was a crime
because in my heart i knew that i would undoubtedly buy the final product -
like i do with ALL of thier products - regardless of my initial impressions.
i even have that stupid ski racing program. i still don't know how to shift
gears in that one! heck, maybe papyrus should sell thier "pre-release"
working copies on-line to the slobbering junkies like us. would you have
PURCHASED it if an unfinished version was for sale two weeks in advance for
say $25? i would've. hell, we all got $25 worth of satisfaction out of the
demo alone.

I do the same except downloading the demo's first. (or buy mags with demos
on the cd's)

I'm not paranoid.  That's just a rumour started by people out to get me.
