The other night online with Nascar Heat I ran into a problem. I just
re-installed it
to check out my Athlon video...very nice btw....but at Texas I had a crash 3
times in a
row. First of all, the lack of practice in Heat muliplayer makes testing
setups difficult.
But here is what happened.
Qualified 3rd, out of 8 inside 2nd row. (we restarted 4 times due to mine
and other
first lap accidents.) Each time we restarted I made good progress through
the first two turns. Passing, but not clearing the 2nd place car above me
and following the leader closely. As the cars exited out of the 2nd turn, 3
times in a row, I lost the backend and spun into the inside wall. Now I
couldn't go much higher due to the other car outside of me. How on cold
tires can you survive the first turns on the inside lane? After that, and
with the damage,
I could motor around the track without the rear being a problem...but man,
that was
frustrating.
