No, I'm not looking for the Daytona track. I've converted the Nascar 1
Talledega track to Nascar 2 because I needed a slightly different 2.5
mile superspeedway for my Daytona track. I've repainted everything on
the track but I've come up against a problem I can't solve. The asphalt
on my track is a mixture of dark greys but as I drive around the track
the track up ahead keeps changing colour from a dark blue to a pale aqua
green. In the "Asphalt.mi4" file the pallette contains only four shades
of grey and I can't figure out where these other colours (the blue and
the green) are coming from. By the way, I'm running the rendition mode
on my rendition card when I drive the game.
If anyone can help me on this one maybe I can return the favour. I'm in
the process of converting the Nascar 1 Atlanta for use as the Homestead
track, so I'll probably have the same problem again.

Wish I could help you with you asphalt problem, but I can't.  However, I am
interested in obtaining the Daytona track if it can be used with Nascar2.  Any
idea where?  Thanks

Don't expect me to teach it, but I'll try and point you in the right
direction.  =)

What you'll need are the 3do-editing tools available at The Sim Project.
You'll need to get into the 'dega.3do file, and going through the
FLAVORS.TXT change the goofed-up colors.  A fair understanding of what
the values are is required, so carefully read through the readme.txt.

Prost!...er...Cheers!

Marc
