I've been reading post that say some have seen MGPR2 at Electronics Boutique
for $19.99. Is this true, I thought is was being released in Feb. 99

I saw it on Wednesday at the local EB (Holyoke, MA) for $29.99 - I'm
assuming it's an import.

i went back to EBX and bought it -- thought the price was too good to pass
up and i had only seen 1 there.  i'm not sure how to determine if it's an
import.  it says "Monaco GP RS2 UK/US" near the bar code.

also got lucky in there because i finally found color game boy for my son
after trying everywhere since about 3 days before xmas.

Yup sounds like the UK version. No problem it's the same game. They are
releasing the official US version in Feb., I think if it requires patching
you might have to d/l the UK patch. There's a good site if your interested
for MGRP2, track, advert, car, driver updates. Let me know.

p.s. I bought Redline Racer last year, UK version at EB. Six months later
they released the US version. It was still the same game. (sucked)
